The Power of Harmony!
The Ultimate Team-Building Event
“...the laughter and smiles Harp generated put supervisors and employees on the same platform in a team-building event that business guru Tom Peters would have loved.”

Tremendous Fun + Your Motivational Content
What better way to give your group — no matter what the size or composition — an experiential lesson in harmony and teamwork than to have them learn a wonderful new skill together? A skill that they will then use to interact in ways that will enhance the functioning of the entire organization! And at the same time, David will integrate your specific motivational content into the presentation, ending (if desired) with a customized song about your organization.
Three Minutes to Harmonica!
As always, David gives each participant a brand new harmonica and guarantees that he will have the entire group playing any style of music within three minutes.
Playing in Harmony, Working in Harmony
Playing music together is a great metaphor for mission alignment. The same skills — active listening, appreciation of diversity, and a sense of shared commitment to a common goal — come into play when doing either successfully!
Breaking Down Divisions and “Turf Issues”
: Need to deal with “turf issues?” By breaking the whole group up into smaller divisions based on teams or function, and having the groups “trade riffs,” David develops an exciting sense of competition. But then, by forming duets composed of individuals from different parts of the business, he fosters a sense of connection and bonding that lasts long after the event.

Individual, Team, and Whole Group Accountability
Once the group is well-bonded (and increasingly proud of its harmonica proficiency), David will create new small groups that cut across organizational lines. A series of exercises will then offer practice in balancing accountability issues, with emphasis on balancing individual, team, and whole group responsibility.

Add Some Elements from David’s Other Workshops?
For example, if time permits, portions from the Balancing Harmony and Improvisation Presentation would add a "creativity component," while a few minutes from "Misery Loves Company" would add an interpersonal stress reduction component. Mix and Match — it's your choice!
